Brooklyn County Committee is the most local level of Democratic Party governance. County Committee members represent individual Election Districts across the borough and play a role in party leadership, governance, and filling certain vacancies. This map was created to make County Committee information more transparent and accessible. For many Brooklyn residents, it can be difficult to determine who represents them or whether their district is represented at all. By searching for an address or exploring the map, you can identify your Election District and view information about its County Committee members. The map also highlights an important reality: many County Committee seats remain vacant. If your district lacks representation, that means there is an opportunity for more residents to get involved. Understanding who represents your community is a first step toward building a more transparent, participatory, and accountable local democracy.
